Reverie Hotel is conveniently located in the village of Firostefani, just a ten-minute walk from Fira, right outside the centre but close enough to easily wonder around. It is not situated on the Caldera’s edge but exactly above it.
The street in front of the building provides easy approach (no steps to walk down) and it is very convenient in case you want to rent a car/motorbike or arrive by car, taxi or bus. Bus stop is just 50 metres away and free parking is available nearby.
The hotel’s access to the traditional walkway it is a real bonus! This pedestrian trail runs along the caldera side and leads down to Fira (or up to Imerovigli & Oia) with an amazing view to the sea, the volcano and the cliffside.
A step away from the hotel, you will find a selection of quality restaurants & cafes, mini markets, travel agencies and shops.

You can easily reach the Reverie Hotel from Athinios Port or the Airport of Santorini (Thira Airport-JTR), if you arrange a pick up service directly with us.
We need to know your arrival details (arrival time & flight number or arrival time & ferry’s name) at least one day prior to your check-in date.
We will be waiting for you at your arrival point, holding up a sign with the hotel’s name ‘Reverie Santorini Hotel’.
Due to limited taxis number and the high cost of transportation on the island, we recommend you book the transfer service in order to avoid any inconvenience.

If you hop into a taxi from the Sea Port or Airport, you only need to say to the taxi driver the name of our hotel – Reverie in Firostefani.

If you decide to use the public Bus service from the airport or port, you should catch the bus which going to “Fira”. Once you reach the central bus station in Fira, you need to get on the bus that is heading towards “Imerovigli & Firostefani”.
The main entrance of the Reverie hotel is just 50 metres north of the bus Stop in Firostefani.
Please, remember to inform the bus driver/conductor that you need to get off at Firostefani.
Public Bus ticket costs up 2 euros,per way per person.
If you want to drive from the Port or the airport, you should follow the signs to “Fira” and then the signs to ‘Firostefani”.
Firstefani is on the way to Oia, 700 metres away from the main square of Fira.
Once you reach Firostefani you will find on your left Agios Gerasimos Church (the central & blue domed church in the main square of Firostefani). Reverie hotel is just 50 metres north of St Gerasimos and the bus Stop in Firostefani. Free parking area is available exactly opposite the Hotel.

Firostefani village, being actually a part of Fira, is located only 700 metres north of the capital of Santorini (Fira centre) and its name means the “crown” of Fira.

How to reach Santorini
By Plane
Santorini can be reached from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos or Thessaloniki Airport Macedonia with a domestic flight (Aegean Airlines, Olympic Air & Ryanair). The flying time from Athens to Santorini is approximately 30 minutes. Santorini Airport (JTR) has also numerous charter flights that operate throughout many European countries.
By Ferry
Another way to reach the island is by ferry from the Port of Piraeus, Crete and almost all the Cycladic islands to Santorini Port, Athinios.
High speed boats are also available leaving the port of Piraeus and numerous other Cycladic islands and Crete. The duration of the trip depends on the ferry and the ports of call.
